Victimization of Candians Abroad
Canadians travelling in a foreign jurisdiction can become victims of crime. Victimized Canadians may not know how/where to report and may come home looking for support. Where one can go to get help in a foreign jurisdiction, how one can afford to travel back and forth to attend the trial, and where one can go for support in Canada after being victimized abroad, are all points to consider when attempting to understand the needs of victims of crime abroad.
